Golden Gate Bridge
A friend invited me to fly all over the Bay Area in a Cessna 182 Skylane 1713C, a single-engined light airplane. It was so cool and beautiful! We flew over San Francisco during the sunset, and it was stunning -- we could see the orange sun partially lighting the city and moving away... It was 17:47 and we were around 1,800 feet high (according to my GPS) when I took this photo of the Golden Gate Bridge. February 2016.

This is the view from Forte Duque de Caxias on the top of Morro do Leme. You can see Leme, an upper-middle-class neighborhood right in front of the beach, and behind it a favela, Morro da Babilônia. Further on the back is Tijuca Forest, Corcovado, and the Cristo Redentor statue on top. Rio de Janeiro, September 2010.
